Best Hotels With Private Hot Tubs in Utah

So, what can you actually expect from a hotel in Utah with in-room Jacuzzis? I’ll start by saying that although the state is pretty large geographically, you can expect most hotels to be in the cities – Salt Lake City and Park City. Of course, there are smaller towns like St. George and Ogden where you might find hotels with private hot tubs too.

Most of the hotels in Utah have their own onsite spas, and wellness centers with swimming pools, shared hot tubs, steam rooms, and saunas (hot tubs are especially common in ski resorts). Most hotels have at least one restaurant on-site. However, the most luxurious hotels in Utah with private hot tubs have multiple restaurants and bars to choose from.

There are also a bunch of hotels in Utah that advertise private hot tubs, but they are often spa baths with jets in ensuite bathrooms. Typically, you’ll find the best private Jacuzzis in deluxe rooms, suites, and condos, which unsurprisingly will cost a bit more than a standard room.

Some hotels offer self-catering apartments, usually in resort villages. It is common for multiple-bedroom condos to have kitchens, living areas and sometimes an outdoor terrace with a hot tub. These are ideal for families and groups of friends who need a bit of extra space. The best thing about hotel condos is that you’ll still be able to benefit from the hotel amenities, such as the restaurants, spas, and fitness centers.

What to Look for in Hotels with Private Hot Tubs in Utah

Because the state is so spread out, it can take a while to drive from point A to point B. So, I highly recommend choosing a hotel located near the places you want to visit and activities you wish to do. You wouldn’t want to waste precious time transiting from your hotel to the mountain, would you?

For example, if you’re visiting for a ski vacation, pick a spot in the heart of Park City, where you won’t have to drive to get to the ski lifts. If you’re there for the hiking, do some research and ensure you’re close enough to Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Moab, or Monument Valley.

In the same vein, if you are traveling by car, it would be in your best interest to look for a hotel with private and free parking. Make sure the road to the hotel is accessible by car, especially if you’re choosing to stay in remote locations.

If you’re visiting a ski resort, staying in a hotel with ski storage facilities is a convenience you shouldn’t underestimate. It’s also best to be located within walking distance of the ski lifts, or at best choose a hotel with a free shuttle bus.

If you like everything taken care of for you, look for a hotel with friendly concierge staff who will be glad to arrange ski passes and other reservations for you. The fewer logistics the better. After all, you’re on vacation!
