If Coligny is the wild child of the island then Shelter Cove is the cooler, older sibling – polished, a lil bit fancy but with a whole loada soul. If you want to escape the chaos that often comes with Coligny then this is the place for you. It’s got tons of fine dining spots, posh boutiques, and the best sunsets on the island. My favorite thing to do here is go yacht-watching and daydreaming about which one I’d buy if I ever win the lottery (a traveler can dream, right?).

The crowd here is more laid-back, and you might even find a bit more space to stretch out. Plus, it’s got that old-school beach town vibe that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a secret spot.
Finally, we’ve got Harbour Town. This is the postcard version of Hilton Head, complete with a lighthouse that is your typical tourist photo op.
