Chippawa is a historic neighborhood originally built by the French and was a prime battle location during the War of 1812, due to its border location with the United States. The bloodiest fights occurred in 1814 during the Niagara Campaign, and the original battlefield can still be visited today.
The Chippawa neighborhood is also a sight in itself, lined with nice parks and historic houses. Go for a walk around and relax from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Niagara Falls and its hordes of tourists.

Everything is conveniently found in Lundy’s Lane, and as such, it is a great area to stay if you have kids. In addition, the main sight of the city, the Niagara Falls, are only located a short drive away.
Lots of different shops are lining up Lundy’s Lane, but for a real bargain head out to the Canada One Outlets. There, you will find premium outlet shopping with heavily discounted name brands. If you are a shopping lover, it would be a shame to miss that!
Lundy’s Lane is also famous for its dining experience, as a lot of fine restaurants and places serving delicious local food can be found here. For a different experience, try having dinner while watching a musical at the iconic Oh Canada Eh venue.
