Niagara Falls is located in Ontario, Canada, and is the main city near the world-famous Niagara Falls. While many come and stop here just to go see the waterfalls, the city actually has a lot more to offer.

Clifton Hill is the main touristy neighbourhood in Niagara Falls. The area is also called the street of fun and offers a lot of attractions for the whole family. There, expect to find a ferris wheel, tons of restaurant, affordable hotels and even mini golf. Clifton Hill is a great place to stay for your first time in Niagara Falls as it is located within walking distance from the waterfalls.

The true town centre is located in Niagara Falls Centre. This is where the train station and the main city amenities are located, and also where you will find most hotels in Niagara Falls. Every budget is represented, and for that reason, Niagara Falls centre is a very popular area to stay in.

If you are looking for something a bit more upscale, Fallsview Boulevard is your place to go. It is also a great place for nightlife as the Fallsview Casino Resort is located in this neighbourhood and provides round the clock entertainment. One of my favourite things about Fallsview Boulevard though is the fact that you can book a hotel room directly overlooking the horseshoe fall, the most famous of Niagara Falls!

Tucked away from the main bustle Chippawa is full of history, quieter than most areas of town, and still within a reasonable distance from the main attractions.

At this point though, you may still feel confused about where to stay in Niagara Falls. Let’s resolve that problem by looking at the 5 best neighbourhoods to stay in Niagara Falls in more detail.
