The vibe is chill. There’s a rooftop terrace that’s definitely a good shout for a hangout. Generally, the decor here is pretty cool too. Super clean as well. Basically, we’re talkin’ the best overall hostel in Jaipur here… and one of the best hostels in India!
The Moustache Jaipur – Best Party Hostel in Jaipur
One of a lil’ chain of India-wide hostels, this top hostel in Jaipur is cosy, cute and well designed. There’s an effort here to create a decent atmosphere, and it pays off. Very very laid-back vibe going on here.
Fun and friendly, there’s a rooftop bar where it’s great to meet some peeps to hit the town with. It ain’t a mad crunk place, but it organises city tours as well as parties so there are some good times to be had after all. But yeah, it’s our top choice for the best party hostel in Jaipur, no doubt.
Hoztel Jaipur – Best Hostel for Solo Travellers in Jaipur
This is the best hostel for solo travellers in Jaipur mainly ’cause of the amazing staff. They’re super helpful, always ready with advice and tips of what to do around the city. It’s got things like free train station and bus stop pick up, female-only dorms, and travellers who wanna have a good time together.
It’s also safe and secure, and all these things really do add up to a great Jaipur backpackers hostel to stay at if you’re travelling by yourself. Tuk tuk drivers here do cheap tours and are fun and friendly, helping to make your stay memorable.

The staff who work at this youth hostel in Jaipur make the atmosphere pretty dang good. It helps make your experience in this sometimes hectic city all the better, and we like that.
They’re actually a hostel with a conscience, working with local communities and reducing plastic waste. We also like that. But it’s the best cheap hostel in Jaipur mainly ’cause of its long list of free activities: yoga classes, walking tours, city tours, and a free pick up from the train or bus station. Great value for money.

Run by a young team of entrepreneurs, so you know these guys are gonna work to a professional level. And as someone who’s a remote worker, you wanna be staying somewhere it’s a slick operation and don’t have to worry about anything, right?
Anyway, yeah, so we’d say this is easily the best hostel for digital nomads in Jaipur. Not only does it have a decent, calm vibe, but it looks the part too – and there are plenty of places to hole up with your laptop and get some work done. A teensy bit pricey for India though!

Hathroi Palace Jaipur
This recommended hostel in Jaipur features one really cool thing and that’s its rooftop restaurant. It’s all very boho and artistically decorated with various Indian artwork and furnishings. Great if you’re totally into that sorta thing.
Private rooms are on offer here, simple but clean, sorta like the hostel as a whole. Location wise, this Jaipur backpackers hostel is really close to the bus stop and train station, but it’s super simple to get a tuk-tuk to take you pretty much anywhere for small money.
Jaipur Sundeck Hostel
This place does actually have a sundeck, so the name at least makes sense. It’s actually a nice place to hang out, too. Located in a Victorian bungalow, this recommended hostel in Jaipur features an owner who’ll make you feel welcome: a perfect antidote to the madness of India’s streets.
The neighbourhood is quiet and relaxing, but you can get a tuk-tuk (or a taxi) very easily to the top sights or anywhere else you’d like to go in Jaipur. Another great thing is the home0cooked food that gets served up here. Seriously, and we mean seriously, tasty.
Jaipur by Roadhouse Hostel
A quirky place with a loada fun, funky paintings on the wall – yep, you guessed it: it’s that boho Indian traveller vibe going on. And with a location that’s smack bang in the old part of the city, you’re surrounded by grand historic architecture here which is pretty dreamy.
You’ll also find a whole load of cheap food around this recommended hostel in Jaipur – the area’s pretty poppin’ when it comes to finding a bite to eat. Plus the hostel has a pretty social atmosphere, and it comes complete with a gaming den featuring a PS4 and foosball – new and old.

Not JUST a Jaipur backpackers hostel, this place has more on offer. There’s a cool lil’ cafe (vegan) to chill in. And there’s a boutique shop onsite too, where you can buy… various textile items. Great if you wanna get some souvenirs or something.
Staying at this place means that you’ll be able to sleep inside an old colonial villa. It’s not exactly the coolest hostel in Jaipur though, but they have tried hard to make it look pretty nice. And it does… to an extent. Close to the pink city for some Insta fun.

Doodle Rack
Doodle Rack. What an odd name. But it’s not that odd. It’s actually got something to do (we think) with the black and white doodles that are scrawled on the walls throughout this top hostel in Jaipur. They’re actually pretty cool.
Otherwise, this place has a great laid-back vibe making it a nice lil’ oasis away from the city. This Jaipur backpackers hostel goes the extra mile and offers up things like free pickups from bus/train station, discount ticket to clubs, a private female-only common area, a basement games room complete with projector… dang.

This place doesn’t want to think of themselves as simply a Jaipur backpackers hostel, but are more behind big ideas like world peace, knowledge and being a global citizen – and neon paint (as often is the case) seems to be a necessity for this. Does this sound like you?
Well, if it does, you’ll probably love staying at this place. The only problem here is… cleanliness. Can’t we live in a world where people are kind AND things are clean? Or are these things mutually exclusive? Big questions. But the staff are helpful and if you’re in it for the whole experience thing, then this is a good shout for you. Oh: it’s SUPER BUDGET.

Bunkstop Jaipur
It’s the Bunkstop. Dunno why that’s made us lol but there you go. It’s pretty central and really close to big restaurants, malls, cinemas and bars. Less about being in the old town here than it is about the modern day side of India, or Jaipur specifically.
This top hostel in Jaipur provides free pickups from transport hubs, which is always helpful, and there’s a fully stocked kitchen which is also handy. Plus this place boasts not one, not two, but actually THREE separate rooftop terraces. Dang.

Crashpad Hostel Jaipur
What do you expect of a place called Crashpad? Well, get ready to have your minds blown ’cause it’s actually one of the coolest hostels in Jaipur. It’s super nice. Not just a crashpad after all, eh?
Cool decor features cushions in the lounge, guitars to play (don’t even get us started), as well as a well-stocked library. The rooftop terrace here actually has views of Nahagar Fort, which makes for a pretty cool way to spend a sunset.
