Wombat’s is a well-known chain of hostels in Europe, so this Budapest branch comes as a reliable option in the world of partying. This is the sort of place where you can expect a good mixture of sightseeing during the day, and fun nights at the hotel bar (the “womBar” – complete with drinks deals).

Opening its doors in 2012, Wombat’s Budapest is set inside a former hotel in a historic building. You can expect spacious rooms with large windows that let in plenty of light. No dingy little dorms here. 

There are nice chill-out areas throughout, so if you need to nurse a hangover, you should be able to find a comfy spot to recuperate before you start all over again.
