It is important to point out that the country of Qatar follows strict Muslim rules. While they are more lenient with tourists, visitors to Qatar should respect, and are expected to respect, the Islamic faith of the country and its people and act appropriately. A few things to factor in is that Qatar does not permit dressing in a revealing manner, Western bathing attire is acceptable only at hotel pools and private beaches.
