San Antonio was a city that totally surprised me. I’m not going to lie, I didn’t expect too much going into it but the city completely blew me away.

From its history and culture to its food and architecture – San Antonio went above and beyond my expectations. The city has a seamless blend of southern, Texan charm with a Mexican influence.

A melting pot of cultures, San Antonio is a super diverse city and it has the food to show for it. You don’t need to just take my word for it either, the city has been named a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. It’s quite literally, some of the best food in the world.

With so much history to discover and food to try, you’ll need to decide where to stay in San Antonio. San Antonio has many different neighborhoods to choose from, each offering something slightly different. Deciding which area is best for you can be a difficult task.
