Ahh, Paris. The city of love. There’s nowhere quite like it.

Visiting Paris is on most traveller’s bucket list. It is home to some of the most famous landmarks in the world. Such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Notre Dame Cathedral.

These iconic monuments rub shoulders with some of the world’s most innovative gastronomy and stylish shopping. If you’re a foodie, a history and culture buff or just love to shop – you will LOVE Paris!

Paris does get mixed reviews from travellers. Some love it, some hate it. But you can’t take anyone else’s word for it, you have to try it out for yourself.

If you’re reading this, it probably means you’ve already decided to visit Paris (yippee!). But that is the easy decision, who can resist Paris?!

The tougher part is deciding where to stay, which can be an absolute nightmare. Not only is it super expensive, but it’s huge, too. There are twenty arrondissements arranged in a clockwise spiral that can be pretty damn confusing.

All is not lost though – I’ve done you a solid and collated the best Airbnbs in Paris! No matter your budget, style or location, there will be an Airbnb for you.

Settle in and get scrollin’. It’s time for me to take you through the best pads in Paris.

More Epic Airbnbs in Paris

Here are a few more of my favorite Airbnbs in Paris!

My Canal Flat

Bright living room with large dining table and floor to ceiling windows

With space for up to five guests in three beds, My Canal Flat is the ideal Airbnb in Paris for families. It overlooks the Canal Saint Martin next to some of the best-known neighbourhoods in Paris. You’ll be close to some of Paris’ best attractions. Including the Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Place de la Concorde and many other incredible historic buildings.

Dining out as a family can be expensive, so it’s good to know there’s a fully equipped kitchen where you can whip up everyone’s favourite meal. It also has a huge dining table for six where you can spend some quality family time together enjoying it.

Artsy Loft by the Canal

Loft with stairs, book shelf, art and a hammock on the bottom level

Set across multiple levels, this Paris loft is bursting with colour and character. It’s in a lively and vibrant area that’s a little off the beaten tourist track and the usual Paris itinerary. So you can be assured you’ll have an experience many travellers to Paris won’t get.

That said, you won’t have any difficulty getting to the top Paris tourist spots either. When you’ve had a busy day, come back and chill in the hammock or read a book surrounded by house plants. A cool and quirky place to stay!

Péniche “SunFlower”

Terrace on top of the boat with pallet sofas and tables. View of the water and trees behind.

After a unique stay in Paris? This has got to be it. These hotel boats are equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. You have a TV, Wi-Fi and coffee machine, certain rooms have a kitchen too.

It’s located a 10-minute drive from the city centre and has free parking included (which is a big bonus in the city!) Nothing beats waking up to a view from the water. However, I would recommend checking the weather beforehand – I’d say this one is best when the weather is on point.

Penthouse with the best view

View of bathtub inside, terrace with high table and chairs and an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower.

In such a stunning city, it’s nearly impossible to pick a flat with the best Eiffel Tower view. If you’re planning on visiting the Eiffel Tower, forget standing beneath it and looking up – just look over from your very own roof terrace. The soaking tub in front of the big windows makes for an epic place to see the tower all lit up – especially if you are travelling in Europe’s cooler months.

Artist’s Apartment

Living area with a wooden roof and floor. Comfy couches, dining table and art on the wall.

The most important thing about a holiday with friends is that you can spend quality time together – and that means in your accommodation, too! Thankfully, this two-bedroom apartment has a huge living space where up to 6 guests can enjoy each other’s company.

If you’re keen to skip the tourist traps, take advantage of your host’s homemade guide. The host has them written in French and English. Whether you’re just in Paris for a weekend, or maybe even longer, you can’t go wrong booking this pad.

What To Pack For Paris

Pants, socks, underwear, soap?! Take it from me, packing for an Airbnb stay is not always quite as straightforward as it seems. Working out what to bring and what to leave at home is an art I have perfected over many years.

Final Thoughts on the Best Paris Airbnbs

So, there you have it. You’ve been spoiled for choice with places to stay. From a penthouse with a view of the Eiffel Tower to a funky boat house – there will be an Airbnb in Paris for you.

With so many to choose from, you might still be struggling to decide where to stay. For you couples and solo travellers, I’d recommend locking in my overall best-value Airbnb in Paris, Cosy studio with a quiet, green backyard. It offers great value for money and is an ideal base for exploring the city.

However, if you’re in a family or a group of mates, I’d recommend My Canal Flat which can fit up to five people and is a cosy home away from home. You can’t go wrong with either of these pads.

Paris is full of love, food, history and culture. Wherever you choose to stay, I hope you have an amazing time exploring everything Paris has to offer – it’s a pretty magical place.
