It’s also one of the most affordable towns in the region, making it a popular choice for budget travellers! Nearby Pigeon Forge is home to a wide array of attractions – including the world-renowned Dollywood.

Sevierville’s 3 Best Neighborhoods to Stay in
Despite its small size, Sevierville is somewhat spread out. We recommend bringing a car, but getting between the main tourist strips is possible by public transport.
COOLEST thing to do in City Centre: Take a trip down to NASCAR SpeedPark and try your hand at some of the fastest go-karts in the United States.
BEST place to visit in City Centre: Floyd Garrett’s Muscle Car Museum is a truly unique exhibition featuring vehicles from the 50s and 60s.
Sevierville is a great budget destination for visitors wanting to spend the summer in the Smoky Mountains. The City Centre is the perfect base for checking out the natural beauty without breaking the bank. It’s also the starting point for many guided tours, making it a great place to gain an overview of the region.
The City Centre might not have the same number of attractions as other neighbourhoods on the outskirts of the city, but it’s still packed with unique cultural sights! The Dolly Parton Statue aside, this is where you can mingle with locals in dive bars and unpretentious restaurants. For a unique insight into Smoky Mountain life, you have to spend some time in the heart of the city.
Things to See and Do in City Centre

Catlettsburg sits in the far north of Sevierville and is a popular destination for those wanting to kick back and relax! With great shopping and golf on offer in the area, it is particularly popular with older couples. It’s just as budget-friendly as the City Centre, but with secluded cabins and quaint lodges, has a more romantic atmosphere.
That being said, there are also some great family-oriented attractions in the area – especially for those with younger children. With waterparks and boat rides, you’re sure to find plenty of things to keep the little ones entertained. Just make sure to keep them calm in this chilled-out neighbourhood.

COOLEST thing to do Pigeon Forge: Grab your camera and head deep into the Smoky Mountains with a local photographer.
BEST place to visit Pigeon Forge: The weather can get a little bit erratic near the mountains, but thankfully, WonderWorks is a great rainy day activity!
Pigeon Forge is officially a different town from Sevierville, but the two places are so closely linked that for most visitors, it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. This is where you’ll find some of the biggest attractions – from Dollywood to dinner shows. For this reason, we reckon it’s the best option for families heading to the area.
Big attractions aside, Pigeon Forge also has some great hiking trails and nature-based activities in the area. Creatives will love the photography and art tours we’ve suggested, but more outdoorsy types are sure to find some great excursions departing from Pigeon Forge.
The town is also pretty close to Gatlinburg – so if you plan on visiting both cities, this is a central base. It is a little bit pricier than central Sevierville, but families are sure to find a decent bargain when visiting the town.
