Cornwall is known for its jaw-dropping landscapes. From beautiful beaches, epic surf spots, quaint and historic seaside towns, and miles upon miles of rolling hills, it’s definitely a part of the UK you go to for relaxation and tranquillity.

This county is pretty much the very end of the country. Next stop, the Atlantic Ocean.

While there are many incredible places to visit in Cornwall, from Newquay, Falmouth, and St. Ives, one thing you can be sure of is that there is no better way to relax and forget about the stresses of city life than from your own private hot tub.

While we can’t all afford our own private hot tub at home, booking a hotel with a private hot tub in Cornwall is certainly a special treat. Yes, it’s a bit more than your average hostel, but you’re on holiday so why not spoil yourself?

Finding these hotels is the hard part though. But you can stop your searching right now, because I have found the 10 best hotels with private hot tubs in Cornwall for your next trip.

Let’s take a look!

Best Hotels with Private Hot Tubs in Cornwall

    Cornwall UK

Most of the accommodations you’ll find in Corwall are holiday rentals, small B&Bs and family-run guesthouses set in historical farmhouses. However, there are also a few great hotels in Cornwall with private hot tubs that offer a little more luxury.

The majority of these hotels are located in the bigger cities and towns, including Newquay, St. Ives, and Falmouth. That being said, Cornwall is huge and you’ll need a car to get from A to B. You might even consider a Cornwall road trip!

Cornwall is most popular during the summer when thousands of city-dwellers flock to the coastline for their annual dose of sunshine. The weather is great here during summer, which means many of these high-end hotels with private hot tubs open up their outdoor terraces with ocean views.

Some of the other rooms I’ve added to the list have indoor jetted tubs, so even if you’re visiting in the winter, there’s a hotel room for you.

Typically speaking, most of the hotel rooms with private hot tubs are suites, penthouses, or family apartments. A basic room usually won’t have a jetted tub in the ensuite bathroom, but there might be a communal hot tub that you can share with other guests. If you want a private hot tub, you should expect to pay a premium price for a room with a private jacuzzi here.

Of course, it also means you’ll be treated to high-end service from the moment you arrive at your Cornwall hot tub hotel. I’m talking 24-hour concierge, room service, in-house spas, and beautiful views from the rooms.

What to Look for in Hotels with Private Hot Tubs in Cornwall

    Isles of Scilly

If you’re on the hunt for the perfect accommodation and are feeling a bit overwhelmed with options, the first thing you should do is determine where to stay in Cornwall. Since the county is huge, you should try to narrow down where you want to visit based on the attractions.

Secondly, think about what you want to enjoy your hot tub for. Are you visiting for a romantic retreat, a special occasion, or a family vacation? Some of the hotels on this list are designed for family fun, while others are strictly ‘adult-only’ properties, so be sure to match the hotel with the purpose of your visit.

Many of the hotels in the area are set in historic buildings, from stone castles to authentic English countryside manors. While most properties make an effort to maintain the heritage and historical beauty of these original buildings, they also make sure guests are provided with the most modern amenities and services.

In other words, most, if not all, of these hotels have been refurbished with modern facilities.

Make sure you book one of the best hotels with jacuzzis in Cornwall near to the top places to visit. A few hotels are perched on top of dramatic cliff faces, meaning you’ll have to travel down lots of stairs to get to the actual ocean. Keep this in mind if you’re traveling with wheelchair users or elderly guests.

I picked The Falcon Hotel as the overall best hotel in Cornwall with private hot tubs for three main reasons. Firstly, it’s located just a short stroll from the beach, which is likely where you’re going to want to spend most of your time. It is also within walking distance to the Bude Sea Pool and Efford Down Park.

Second, the hotel offers access to a cozy brasserie where guests can enjoy a traditional meal. It also has a beer terrace and walled-in garden to explore.

Finally, the Superior King Room has a spacious bathroom and corner spa tub that steals the show. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that this hotel is pretty affordable for what it offers too.

Best Hotel for Couples – Superior Double Room at The Falmouth Hotel

Superior Double Room at The Falmouth Hotel
    • $$$
    • A short walk to the beach and to Pendennis Castle

The rooms here have also all been furnished with trendy wallpapers and antique furniture and are fitted with high-quality linens. The Superior Double Room here is my favorite, offering a beautiful balcony with a spa tub and an ocean view.

It’s also a short walk from the beach and Pendennis Castle. Can you think of a better place to stay?

Not only is Carbis Bay and Spa Hotel one of the most luxurious on the list, but it also offers some of the most beautiful views. You’ll struggle to find a property closer to the beach than this one, which is directly on the white sand of Carbis Bay near St. Ives.

The villa with a sea view is a detached property set between the hotel’s tropical gardens and the crystal clear Atlantic ocean. This villa includes its own private deck with a built-in jacuzzi tub. This is arguably one of the most beautiful places to enjoy a hot tub soak in the county.

The hotel also offers a shared lounge and bar, which often hosts live entertainment shows. Of course, there’s a spa and an indoor swimming pool here too.

The only reason this room at St. Georges Country House is so affordable is that it’s located a bit further out in the Cornish countryside. However, this small boutique hotel offers cozy accommodation and is still a quick walk away from Perranporth beach.

Depending on how many people you’re traveling with, guests can choose from twin rooms, cottages, and family rooms at this hotel in Cornwall with private hot tubs.

The rooms here feature tea and coffee-making facilities, TVs, countryside views, and include a locally-sourced English breakfast. Best of all, many rooms here have their own personal spa tubs in the ensuite bathrooms.

If you’re into fishing, water sports, and horseriding, this hotel will be perfectly located for you. After a day out adventuring, enjoy your own private spa bath in the main suite.

The rooms here are inspired by a classic Nordic-design style, with natural wood, live plants, and bright pops of colorful furniture. The Sea View Double Luxury Bathroom Suite has its own spa tub set beneath a window overlooking the coastal town.

Hotel with the Best Views – Suite with Sea View, Fistral Beach Hotel

Suite with Sea View, Fistral Beach Hotel
    • $$
    • On the Fistral Beach beachfront in Newquay
    • Adult-only hotel with upscale spa and wellness center
    • Restaurant with ocean views

If I had to pick a hot tub hotel in Cornwall with the best views, it would have to be the Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa. Perched on top of the cliffs overlooking Fistral Beach in Newquay, this hotel boasts panoramic ocean views from just about every room.

As the name suggests, the hotel has an on-site spa with a beauty salon as well as a bar and restaurant overlooking the ocean. The rooms are just as beautiful, decorated with contemporary interiors, and fitted with the usual hotel amenities. I’m talking tea and coffee-making facilities, complimentary toiletries, spa slippers, and cozy gowns.

The sea view suite is my personal room of choice, purely because of its spacious bathroom with a private jacuzzi. The bathroom has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking 180-degree ocean views. I can’t think of a better place to enjoy a spa soak.
