How long do you need to backpack Thailand?

Is Thailand good for solo travel?

Absolutely. Thailand has been a favourite with solo travellers for decades, and it's easy to see why. With a friendly backpacker scene, great transport and plenty to see and do, it's the perfect place to travel at your own pace.

Do I need to visit the Thai islands?

The islands are one of Thailand's biggest draws, but they're all very different. Whether you're after lively nightlife, world-class diving or quieter beaches, there's an island to suit every type of traveller. If you have the time, they're well worth adding to your itinerary.

    Is Thailand safe to visit?
